Couldn't find it on any of the usual body kit places. Or eBay.

I did discover that people are apparently willing to spend $500 on carbon fiber stickers to cover their hood and roof, though. Which is impressively stupid.

 

Oh I know, And I've looked everywhere that I have bookmarked for the last 5 years and can't find it at all. I did find a couple pics of "to me look like photoshoped" versions of this hood, but I'll post those later. Wanted to get the "OG" one up here, so that HOPEFULLY someone knows something I don't. It might be a custom hood that the dude made, but looks too good to not have some kinda R&D behind it. We'll see, but thanks for trying also.

Not sure of the owner. Like I said all I know is where I originally found the images was on someones flickr account, who've I already emailed. And yeah, like that signature on the hood, just teasing me more.... Wouldn't that be some luck if it was one of John Coopers cars. lol... Then this could get real tricky.

That's not a mini hood in the video. Looks exactly like the evo hood. And those pictures look different...

 

Yeah I don't think that this is the exact one in the video - BUT this could DEFINITELY be the company that ended up making that one for the MINI possibly. (Same stylings), Thanks for that link. I do also agree with Spraypaint, about it probably being an evo hood, but having the coop in the background makes me wonder, if they did go ahead and make this exact style for the coop too. (The one in the actual pictures though, of course we all know that's not it.) Maybe I'll give them a call today. I actually purchased a carbon hood from VIS before for a civic hatch that I used to drive.... BEFORE THE R53 WAS BORN . I'm at work too, so couldn't really listen to what the dude in the video was saying, so I'll watch this again after I get out of work. But again, thanks a million for all the help thus far....... We'll figure this out, no doubt!!!

This guy did something like that to his MINI but his was custom:

but maybe he had seen something that point him in the direction he went.

 

Yeah maybe? I'll try and contact him maybe, but I've seen those parts like what he's done with his hood, so I'm not positive on that one. But thanks a million none the less. Any help finding this dammnn thing is more help than I have myself!!!!
