My husband and I were on our way to Connecticut last weekend and got stuck in traffic merging from 91 to 95. As we were waiting our turn in line, what zooms by but the EXACT MC I'm waiting to order -- pepper white with a black top. Oh my, it was GORGEOUS. Looked like the driver was taking it home from the dealer (there's a dealership in Hartford, right?). Totally reaffirmed my decision to go with the pepper white/black combo -- and got me even MORE frustrated to have to wait until January to drive it!

I agree....the pepper white is gorgeous....pictures just do not do it justice!
I have only seen one in person and I just loved it....it's so mellow looking!
Good choice!

you're so right--pics don't do it justice. I practically grinded my molars down to powder trying to pick a MCS color...ended up going with a pepper white Cooper. There's something very unassuming about it. But it's funny, when you tell your friends you're getting a white one, you can see a "what an idiot" thought bubble above their heads. They'll just have to see it in person.

It looks like an upside-down Guinness Stout. How classier can you get? (Though my Indi Blue & black is pretty sweet.)

Great choice! The Pepper white looks really classy and original. My girlfriend wants one just like that. I guess I like it cause it reminds me of vanilla ice cream...

Dude...by "The One"...I thought you meant the MINI One. Plenty of them to go around here in Europe...! Too bad it's not offered stateside for people who cannot quite afford the MINI Cooper...

Picked chilli red with white -- that's the combo that Cooper had when MINI became a winner!

Despite my love for "INDI", I do agree the pepper white has the most classy of color combinations. It was my first choice a month ago, but after taking a test drive, I discovered a flaw in the passenger window. Everytime the door shut, the window would go up (As it should), but not intp the window frame, but into the door jam! It sounds hard to visualize I'm sure, but trust me, you could "hear" the difference. There was a visible mark on the black door jam where the window had been making contact. The car rattled as it hit bumps, all from the window. I did love the color, but was too impatient to wait for repairs I guess. I don't have any second thoughts though, Indi fits me fine.

I love the vanilla ice cream/upside down Guinness Stout comparisons! Yum.

Yeah, I've gotten a few raised eyebrows when I tell people (those who aren't Mini-savvy, that is) I'm getting a "Pepper White" car. I always have to follow-up with, "Well, it's not really WHITE, it's more of a cream color." Can't wait to actually get the car so I can show everyone just how cool it looks!

Yeah that's a great idea!

They should offer all of the regular body colors as roof color options!

The Guinness Stout MINI would be black with a pepper white roof
