What model year? Pending a thorough inspection, including a compression test, I'd have no problem buying it if there were no glaring problems - high mileage on a modern car doesn't really scare me.

I'd pay particular attention to the clutch and the suspension bushings, though.

Yeah I second compression test and check the suspension along with a slight low ball and that would make for a good winter ride.

Well, there are really only two common problems with the supercharger. The first is general wear, which will gradually increase the tolerances between the rotor vanes and the case. This will just cost you a little bit of boost. The other is if the "lifetime fill" oil in one of the two lubricant reservoirs leaks out. If it happens on the water pump end of the supercharger, it will chew up the PTO (Power Take Off) gearing and the water pump in fairly short order.

If the supercharger isn't making any grinding/rattling noises, the lubricant is probably fine, although it would be something I'd check and replace on general principle if I ended up buying an MCS with that many miles.

I just picked up a 190k MCS for $5500 and LOVE it. Totally worth the buy if it's been properly cared for & maintained

Wow, 190k... seems like a lot of risk, I would at least put $800 aside for something like SC or wheel bearing repair. I would think its value is more like $4500...
