WOW! Now that's what I call being prepared for any eventuality!!

Mine:

All the manuals EXCEPT the owners manual (that's in my laptop case for some reason)

State required papers
Handicap placard (for the rare times when the wife rides with me)
Pair of gloves (and boy did I need them this morning! +23 and top down )

Glock 22 wont fit so it's stuck in the holster in the belt.

What an interesting mix!! I could fit the G-22 in the glove box, but it doesn't leave much room for anything else and with my old-timers disease, I'd end up forgetting where it was anyway!

Just looked:
Complete owner's manuals,
Insurance card and license receipt,
GPS & lighter cord,
Small flashlight,
Handicap placard, for use if wife's along,
Copies of an insulting cartoon to leave on cars in handicap parking places without plates or placard,
CD - The Who's greatest hits,
pen & small spiral notebook.

The sidearm stays on me. When you need it, you won't have time to open the glovebox...

If I were to keep a firearm in the glove box, it'd be a C-96 Mauser pistol, 'cause they're cool, like a MINI!

Thats why I only take it to the range or on long trips. The other 2 only go to the range.

I wonder if a 500 S&W magnum would fit if I modifyed the back panel to the glove compartment? The worlds BIGEST handgun in what people concider to be the worlds smallest car.

Guess I will need to wait until tax season to find out.

Where did you find Mini driving gloves (or is it you just have really SMALL hands)?

And I must ask the question (begging pardon in advance with no offense intended): Would Ye be of the female persuasion?

(just looking at the mix of items)

My mother-in-law gave me the gloves last year for Christmas. They are an actual Mini brand product. Size XL. I don't wear them often but it amuses me to store them in the glove compartment since almost nobody has gloves there.

No, definitely male. My wife is often in the car and must have some of her items onboard.
