What's in your GloveBox ???

I have not seen such thread yet and am interested what items everyone carries in their MINI's glovebox? I find that you cant put much there and it's pretty poorly designed as things tend to slide around inside as the surface is flat.

My contents:
24 CD holder (Booklet type)
Black sharpie
Romisen RC-N3 flashlight
pair of extra AA batteries
registration card
Ka-Bar BK-11 knife
Small bottle of cologne
Tire pressure gauge
parker jotter pen
travel size tube of Tylenol

Fisher Space Pen
Note Pad
Flashlight
Tire pressure gauge
Leatherman
Registration and proof of insurance cards
Car chargers for phones (2)
Cig lighter splitter (2 plugs and 2 USB ports) for when I need more plugs :)

That's the bulk of it.

My glove box is totally empty. I always leave it open when I park the car, because I don't want some junkie smashing my window looking for quarters. I live in a good neighbourhood but Victoria seems to have a lot of petty theft and property crime due to our addict population, so it's not worth the risk. The only things in my car at all are a tube of Armour-All wipes, tire pressure gauge, and owners manual/insurance papers, under the seat. I even removed that little change holder that lives in the cupholder, haha.

 Being in the military, I've seen enough **** in my life to see how unbalanced and unstable the world has become. It's simply for me and my family's protection.

I only have my insurance and registration in my glovebox.

But over the years I can tell you I've found lots of interesting things.

Most common things are the complete MINI manuals, guns, and tampons.

But I've found pictures, drugs, condoms, sex toys, cash, napkins, lotions and hand creams. And no I don't go through people's glovebox for fun, after what I've seen I'm scared at what I might find. But I do stamp the service books whenever I do a service, or have to find the stupid wheel lock key.

This is like that article Car and Driver did some years ago where they asked professional mechanics what strange things they had seen over the years. One of the best was the new owner of a used car who said he smelled burning wood whenever he braked. Turned out the seller of the car was too cheap to fit new brake pads and cut some out of wood on his bandsaw! No wonder it smelled like burning wood....it WAS!
