Gabe at Bridger.us/MINI.com just posted a link to a web page that has a decoder for BMW VIN numbers, said it works with MINIs VIN number too. I put the link below so check it out. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and Gabe thanks for the link.

There are some posts on Bridger.us/MINI.com that say it doesn't work with 04 MINIs but it worked on my 03.

This is what I got when I entered the VIN for my 03 MCS;

Error : Input data was not valid

Make sure you put in only the last seven digits of your VIN number. Such as TD62323.

Information it provides is not correct. I put my info in and it returned a right hand drive car that was built in September 2000.

 

Mine worked. I thought the info was pretty much useless. Only thing of interest is that transmission model number.

 

i wanted to find out what day my MCS was made. It only gave me month and year...

 

my inputs gave the correct month and year my car was produced :smile:

Ditto here as well... I have yet to receive mine... it is at the VDC... but it shows Brigit as being RH drive - and a Cooper S!
