I've been searching the forums for information regarding whether the MINI has lumbar support adjustment on the driver's seat. From the posts I've read it seems that if you have leatherette seats there is no lumbar support adjustment, but if you have leather seats there is. Can anyboady confirm this? What about the sport seats? What if you get cloth seats?

Thanks!

I have a Red/Red S with black leather and there is a lumbar support adjustment. I can't speak about whether leatherette has one or not. It is located on the right side of the seat as you are sitting.

Only leather has an adjustment.

'Standard' seats (cloth, letherette), do not.

Pebble.

Not that Pebble's right, but that lumbar support only comes if you drop $1250 for leather...that part's dumb...

Pebble IS right. All sports seats have lumbar support, but only the leather seats are adjustable.

Is the MINI's lumbar support that good? I have had cars with lumbar support and have never really used it (I find most of these lumbar adjustments to make the seat even more uncomfortable). I don't have the lumbar support as I went with the standard black leatherette seats.

At the MINI's price point, lumbar support should be standard regardless of seat type or upholstery material.

I usually don't like lumbar support myself (it's ALWAYS in the wrong place for me... ), and when i test drove the MCS w/sport seats, the first thing I adjusted was to put it to it's lowest setting... so if you're not a lumbar guy like i'm not... you're not missing much..

I "only" paid $1000 for the leather option not $1250. What price did others have to pay?
