The light that indicates that the hood and/or boot is open, stays on as long as my car is on. When I turn my lights on, it flashes.

Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks...

check the two latches/switches. They work a lot like a door switch for your dome light, could be that one is sticking.

Try opening and slamming your boot/bonnet again. Make sure they are closed. I do this to my '08 every once in a while, I swear I closed it but then trying it again seems to fix it right.

It's ok, guys. My best friend is a retired Marine (somebody had to take him under their wing) and I've got him to the point where we can take him out in public now -he even gave me a MC hat, but I wear it backwards so I don't scare the women and children. Keep up the good work, from an old doggie.

 

my light is on too.

but its becuase i broke the lock mechanism for the hatch, so it thinks its open, when its not.
