If you felt, like I did, that the only way to get a mini is with a checkered top. Post a photo here. Let's see all the variations on the theme, let's see those checkered bonnet stripes too.

Unfortunately this design was one of the targets of MINIUSA/BMWNA in their recent clamp-down on the independent dealers. Apparently they decided they had a trademark issue with a red letter S .

Matt only made two of these before they shut him down. The other is a full-roof version that is in the Austin TX area.

These are awesome, and I never even thought of Pepper White with checkers.

Don't quite know how to post the pics but I saw a white with white and silver checker. Very subtle. Both were pearlescent.

I love those checkered bonnet stripes. Where did you get them? I have a LY/W coming in a week and I am getting a black and white checkered roof and would love the stripes to match. I have found some similar ones from Cooperflags? but I'm not sure if I like the border on their's or not.

I'll post some picures here after I pick the car up.

 

I absolutely love all these pics! I plan on buying a mini next spring. I would love to have a yellow or red with the checkered top and black racing stripes. I really have my heart set on a yellow one though. I just need to find a dealer in my area now.

am from ohio and have the checkered flag roof, checkered mirror covers, even checkered valve stem caps. My kids wanted it and i was not sure, but now i love it. If you are flying beneath the radar, avoid it, because it DOES attract attention. Attached a pic of the car. These cars are supposed to be fun and this screams fun to me.
