Here's one I have yet to see here. (and I did search!!)
Has anyone looked into what it would take to pull the shade cloth assembly out and replace the shade cloth with a denser cloth? Denser cloth is easy to get, but installing it...????

Hmmm, this idea was tossed around a Loooong time ago. Would denser cloth fit when it's retracted in it's holder? Might be too bulky. Other people have put a solid piece of something (let's say cardboard) between the screen and the window. BTW, am I the only one that likes the perforated screen? I like to see the sky, that's why I got the sunroof.

I don't see why you couldn't use a lightweight but non-transparent cloth, like some kind of nylon. I haven't had any problems with the perforated screen though.

I like mine too! I worried about this before I got the car, but the screen has been fine. The sunroof tint combined with the screen is a pretty good barrier. I think it is only a problem for people in VERY HOT climates.

I love the sunroof. It's more about outdoor parking on hot days. Just curious....

After I got my windows tinted with 35% all around, combined with the sunroof shade and the stock sunroof tint, the cabin is very cool and shady. Absolutely no need for more. I really like being able to open my windows and the sunroof, yet be able to keep the perforated screen closed so as to reduce wind buffeting and block the sun if it happens to be in my eyes.

I bought a cheap mylar sunscreen from Walmart-cut pieces to fit both front & back openings if it's really hot out. Along with my 35% tint it really keeps the temp down & AC working great. It's a cheap fix & easily removes when opening the sunroof.
