because I've been conditioned to expect a huge discount/0% financing etc. on more common cars. Heck, Im not even sure if it's a 2003 or a 2004. I think 2003. In theory I got a $400 discount, but part of this was a BS "preparation fee" which they insisted they get on every car. Whatever, I'm happy. It's a BRG/white top standard Mini with cruise, foglights, spoiler, chrome bumpers and floor mats. Tried to talk them out of a car cover but the best I could get was to buy the cover at their cost.

Could have gotten a new Cavalier for $8,000........but why would I want to?

Happy Motoring and 4-6 weeks, (maybe more) of waiting.

Not all of the dealers have that $400 BS. I ordered mine, same price as was configured on MINIUSA.

Hi,
The BS charge was $249 bucks. I got an actual $151 dollar discount off list. Not much but beats no discount. It's only money.......

You did great!

Now stop thinking about the money! and start thinking about the MINI!

When will your car be delivered?
Do you have the production number yet?
Do you have a name for your MINI?
Have you joined your "Can't wait for..." club?

Congrats iwannamini. I think you're very lucky to get a discount....and lucky to not have to wait long!

...where did you buy your Cooper from, anyway?
Cheers,
Ryan

To those who asked, I ordered from Roadshow BMW/Mini in Cordova, (Memphis) TN. It's about 180 miles from my home in Arkansas. As far as the wait time goes they told me 4-6 weeks, but I'm sure that might not happen.....but maybe it will. My 60th birthday is Aug 26th, I'm hoping it won't be to far from that date.
I'm relaxed now and glad my order is processed. This is a great website and I'd like to thank all those who responded to my post.

You are welcome!

You have to join the "Can't wait for Sept Club" ... You'll be posting around people who are waiting like you are. You can take your production number and track your MINI being built on the MINIUSA site!

Have a good time just knowing your MINI is coming!
It won't be long!
