Looked on the infonet today. The car has been produced and I should see it sometime around Mid-August!! Hooray. Right from the dealership to the wheel shop then to tint!! It only took four days from the paint shop to final production!

How do you know it was in the paint shop? Does ol.miniusa.com tell you this? Mine just says scheduled for production. Is there another website?

We should have this thread moved to the Official August thread: "The Can't Wait for August Club!"

Who's got the power to do this!

The MINI Owners Lounge does not tell you this. Only available to BMW Employees

It would be so cool to see a pic of my car on the assembly line...

I would enjoy that as well. Unfortunately, I don't work in Britain where the car is produced. I have been to Brazil though to the engine production facility. It is quite cool.

When's the next train out? I finished production the 18th and have been awaiting transportation ever since... arghhh!

Now I'm really anxious. I know it's built sitting in some space in Oxford surrounded by all that Cartesian dualism.

Hmmm... mine just finished, maybe they will be on the same train. That would be cool.

How do you know it's on a train? ol.miniusa.com?

Yours may actually be on a Carrier. Have you checked the Carrier Tracking site (Click Here)?

At this stage, your best calling ask mini every other day for an update. I found out today that I caught a train on the 22nd and am at the shipyard already. Still "awaiting transportation" in the owner's lounge.
