What do you prefer?

I just placed my order for Sept. Production - at the dealership in Princeton.

I'm ordering the MCS, Dark Silver w/ White roof/mirrors black/grey interior (leatherette) 16" wheels, premium package, cold weather package, fog lights. Delivery in MARCH!

 

I like the antrhacite -- it looks great, but if you go with that the door panels and down tubes will all be the same color. I like the contrasting light/dark better. I ordered the high gloss silver in my MCS. As with all MINI decisions, you can't go wrong, it will be great whatever you decide!

thanks..also ordered the high gloss silver. What are down tubes?

 

I test drove my first MINI two weeks ago and a week later I placed an order. I just called the dealer on Friday and changed my order from the silver trim to the anthracite. The silver doesn't look bad, but I was worried about how well it would hold up over time. I'm a little nervous about the anthracite because I've only seen it in photos. But when it's all said and done, I think I'd be happy with either color.

Wow this is exactly what I ordered and I ordered in August but dealership said order wont go in till November. Find out from dealer when the order will actually be submitted in. Maybe a 5 month wait is just about right. mmmmmm.
I ordered the 16 inch wheels 5 star alloy but how much extra was fog lights.
These look excellent on the car and I was thinking of them too. I havent seen the anthracite in person but i think with the dk grey the silver is better .I am still deciding on this too. If you can wait till they get a 2003 in with this i would. I mean order now but if the actual order wont go in now you could check out the anthracite first.

first of all you are correct with stating that ordered in sept. production will not take place until NOV/DEC. that is why i have 4-5 months to decide. i will head into the princeton dealership sometime soon to check out the options i have. basically~ i'm leaning towards the dark silver mcs w/ black roof 16" rims and anthracite trim.

I ordered on August 24th and have a September 13th production date?? From what you all are saying, should I expect this date to be much later??
