JCW Intake Install questions
I just attempted to install my JCW CAI and I'm also lost on the location of the vacuum hose connection.
I remember seeing an install procedure SOMEWHERE that had actual images rather than the diagrams on the "official" install..
Any hints or a pic on where this is SUPPOSED to connect? I think I have the rest figured out OK.
Thanks for your help!
Jim

When I did mine (which I THINK I did the right way - and all works OK) - I pulled the hose off the bypass valve (I think that's what it is... the black plastic thing on the side of the throttle with a black vaccuum hose attached to the top) then connected up the T-hose from the JCW kit there.
It's much easier to access this if you remove the plastic cover from the intercooler...

I really didn't have a problem with the hose LENGTH... just the location...
Of course, I had the intake hose removed from the throttle body also - which helps a lot. But then you need a clamp to reattach it (I'm using an Alta hose...)

Not a millimeter extra.
It's just long enough. Barely!
