Finally tooks some (BIG) pics of the new MINI. (dial up beware)
Ordered the 06 MCS Sept 06, took delivery about Thanksgiving, 06. (Yeah I know it's been 6 months) Basics of the build were:
CR/CR
JCW
Every package
Panther Leather seats
piano seven dash
anthracite
armrest, etc.
Also added the aero kit, but had it painted factory style. Stock bumper covers are in the garage now. Decoration
Also bought the color matched aero grille from fellow NAM'er, blorax
It took me so long to get a couple shots that were worth uploading, but here they are...
A few mods (wheels, tires, suspension, tint, a bunch of overpriced JCW carbon because I can't help myself
,blackout beltline, JCW dash badge, etc).
The original pics are huge, but look better resized in this thread.
Also, a shout out to Mike and Hannah at Aesthetic Creations for the Carbon Fiber domed S badges and to Ed at Cooperflags for making my aero bumper replacement grille "stickers". Much better than stock!
EDIT: finally shrunk the pics... sorry they were so huge...

Those are huge pictures, you weren't lying there. haha, beautiful car.
p.s. Would black stripes be in your future? Everything looks better with stripes.
p.s.s. Could you take a closer pictures of the dash badge? I think my car had one, but the previous owner might of removed it. I have been trying to figure out why there's 2 holes in my dash.
Did you buy the badge from a dealer? or online?

BTW, Red October looks awesome!
Hey, you come down here and deal with my crummy internet speed... oh wait, you can't.

Nice looking car.

I rarely say this, but I'd go with the wide "Viper" style stripes over the standard bonnet stripes, if you're looking to put on such an accent - the car certainly is aggressive-looking enough to pull off that look. I'd also replace the white side-marker lens with a smoked one, or hit it with a coat or two of blackout tint paint if it were me...

No, they don't come with any kind of dash badge.

Sorry about the pic size! I didn' realize they were THAT big
. I'll re-size them asap.
The JCW badge is a mod. It's a little item that I got from someone in the UK. It'the same metal badge that is on the outside of JCW cars, but it has no pins on the back. It's adhered with double sided foam tape. I'll take a better pic soon.
I was planning on the big stripe. Then had second thoughts. It's too late now with the full hood clear bra and so on.
Here's what I was thinking. This wasa photoshop job I did on the MINIUSA build pic, before I bought this one.

I thought it was an area that was going to be painted out when I had it done, but the plastic that was used seems much more durable. Either way... clear bra'ed!
