Heh, heh, heh!

Nice try, but when I took my test drive, it was
the shortest one I've ever taken. Of course, the
2 salesmen were incredibly busy, but I had the feeling
that they didn't feel they wanted to put much mileage on
the cars. We just went around several blocks in a big
square. (Still far enough to love the way it
drove, though.) Hope you get a longer one!

Some dealers are more generous with the test drives. Mine let me have a Cooper S for a 30 minute test drive. I had a blast!

Dave:

Good luck and have tons of fun!

Tell Debra to let you take the MINI under the cool tunnel pass near the dealer right in US1! If your tester happens to have a sunroof, make sure it is opened right before you approach the tunnel's entrance. Accelerate that baby and you'll feel the most awesome sensation since your first ride in a Roller Coaster!!!

Geez, I had the option of taking a salesman or not - the first one was with my son and salesman (I decided to take him with us so I could ask questions about the gadgets) and my second test drive was with my wife and son (no salesman). Both were about 30 min although the second one was cut short when I noticed the gas gauge WAY BELOW 'E'!

Ironically, my husband & I both currently drive cars we purchased
at other Ferman dealerships - I even mentioned it. :???:
