SHOW(or tell) YOUR....FRIENDS CARS!!

Ok, as many of you know I am just a wild (but responsible!!!) teenager who lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Personally, I think my close friends have some really nice cars. (although not nearly as cool as the mini). Most of them they actually paid for and worked for it themsevles-but whatever, here it goes-pics when I get home on Friday.
Patrick-
1968 Ford Mustang GT500
2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
Chris-
1995 Toyota Supra 15th anniversary
1980s Porsche 911 (project car)
Matthew-
1994 BMW 318i 4dr
Bry
1998 E36 BMW M3 Convertable
Alex
1999 Jaguar XKR Convertable (her parents, but it doesnt seem that way)
I think I have a nice group of cars to hang around with most of the time.
Feel free to post any of your friends/buddies cars worth giving a shout over.

I ALWAYS take the T when we go to Boston. You guys have a FANTASTIC baseball team but the absolute worst city to drive in. (and I live in Los Angeles! ) I actually was there visiting my in-laws a few years ago and tried to take my kids to see Ol' Ironsides (The USS Constitution for those not in the know) and thanks to the Big Dig I ended up driving for a half an hour and ended right back in front of the hotel we were staying at! Proceeded to park the car and take the T to the Duck tour!

In the spirit of the thread...

I know quite a few people with some very cool cars. I know most of the guys from the Choppers (They were featured on an episode of Rides on Discovery Channel) and quite a few other fellow hot rodders in the So Cal community. The cars they own are beyond cool. My brother is building a 51 Chevy chopped hardtop (don't ask me why?). I am negotiating to buy back my old 49 Merc coupe (the one car I would sell my MINI for!). And am looking to buy a 67 Firebird for my 17 year old son.

Camrys camrys camrys...too many of my friends drive Camrys. They used to drive BMWs, Saabs, and even an MGB. Now their lives are limited to Camrys and saying things like "if I didn't have kids I might buy one of those too".

In my circle of friends (outside the MINI world, of course), there are a bunch of Jags, Ford Exploders, Lincoln Alligators (my nickname for Navigators), and one gal-pal drives an old Buick Beastmaster (Roadmaster)! Heck, me mum drives a BMW Z4!

The friend’s cars are B/B 03 MCS, BRG/W 03 MCS, DS/B 03 MCS, PW 03 MCS, CR/W 04 MCS and a DS/DS 04 MCS. I’m starting to see a pattern here.

mini d,

You should feel pretty lucky that you *did* end up back at the hotel!!

The city is really bad to drive in - I don't do it if I have to. I am actually out in the burbs. Cambridge is drivable at least and there is a lot to do and eat there!

Come visit, the T is $1.25 now.

I was quite relieved when I ended up at the hotel . We come out there to visit every summer (my wifes mother lives in Vermont, and her brother lives in Connecticut.) and usually catch a couple of Sox games if we can.

Oh the Toyota-izing of America, for shame for shame. I live in a Toyota free neighborhood. Muahahahah! No, not really, but we do have some interesting rides on my street (excluding my own).

Alfa Romeo 164
Triumph TR-8
Porsche Boxster S
Austin Healey 3000 Mk III
BMW 735i
Porsche 356A

Hmmm, all European iron, doesn't anyone else make interesting cars? Or maybe I don't care about the non-Euro machines.

One of the guys at my job had a civic with a turbo Prelude motor dynoed at 780 hp. I drove it with the boost turned down, to where it was making "only" 490 hp. This thing was a beast. First gear is pretty much useless. He thought he was going to be able to drive it everyday but he kept having little problems here and there (I warned him about this) so he yanked the motor out and put a "stock" prelude motor back in for everyday driving. He's got the turbo motor sitting in his garage waiting for another civic body to put it in.

A friend of mine who is majoring in engineering at auburn has an old, bare bones civic hatch back. No ABS, no A/c, no anything. he took as much stuff as he could out, with out stripping the car majorly, such as the rock guards, and plastic under the car. He now has an Integra GS engine and brakes in the car, and it is FAST. The car was around 20-2100lbs, and with 200bhp, it is quick. It is done with taste too, the only exterior hints are lowered body, carbon fiber hood, and wheels. He even spraypainted the exhaust to look stock. It is frightenly fast, and glued to the road-something the mini should work to be.
