'90 subaru lagacy station wagon almost did my '94 jetta but that was a much sturdier vehicle.

 

This wasnt my car but was a passenger in the right rear.......spun 4 times and rolled 3 times. 95 M3 Everyone came out bruised but ok

 

1970 340 Duster.....wrecked and then burnt to the ground....that was almost 30 years ago.

 

94 Lincoln Town Car (it had a dent, I didnt want it, $1200 in damage was enough to have the insurance company total it upon my request )

 

2003 Mini Cooper S. Slid sideways into a curb. Replaced with Mini GP.

 

Not my car but I was the passenger. '65 Impala (no seat belts, I think they were an option in 65). Over the median, airborne into oncoming traffic, came to rest in bushes surrounding a restaurant sign.

 

First was a 1968 Impala wagon, then a 1978 Cutlass, then a Sunbeam Tiger and finally a 1986 CRX Si. The Tiger was the only one that was my fault.

 

You totalled a not-more-than-3-year-old car by sliding it into a curb? Did it roll? Did the body separate from the undercarriage (yeah, I know I'm dating myself . . . )?

didnt total it... engine blew up...

it was a 89 RX7 n/a... brought it 3 months before, same day i got my license! and spent nearly the same money i took to start it, spent another 100 bucks each week in oil alone...

i do miss it though... first car is a first car.... no matter how unreliable and how much fun i had putting oil in every time i shut the car off....

 

Hit at less than 30 MPH. Did not roll. SIde airbags did deploy. Didn't seem like much damage. Damage included front wheel, rear wheel, rear suspension, unibody at the rocker panel area, rear body panel, pass. door misaligned, rear hatch misaligned.

 

Yeah, that $#it adds up.

First car I totaled was actually my first car... go figure. 2004 Saturn ION. Accident wasn't my fault but I wasn't sad to see it go!
