Hey all,

This date was suggested in the April 15th thread, but kind of died when Jason mentioned that 4/29 is Lyle's GF's bday. So I wanted to see if anyone else is still up for a drive?

I finally got my MINI yesterday so she won't have enough miles on her by Friday for me to push it, but I'd be up for a little "mild" motoring - either that or I could just stay at the back of the pack and play catch-up all night!

You finally got the car.......congrats! Now you have the itch to drive Hmmm it would be fun but don't think I could make it....Have fun! If you can you should try to make it to BigMini Day Fun times........

 

I went on the last run it was fun but I got called to work out of town that night so I'm out..... ....Sorry.

I may be up for a mild run, my tires are getting worn. I'm having trouble keeping up with all the threads so pm me if something is going down.

 

Weekend days are better for me, as I am traveling from a little out of the area... But Congrats on your MINI finally getting here, was following your trek on the Feb Build thread!

 

Congrats and on the train for finding its way... I guess they swapped out the mules for a real steam engine

I'm up for a drive if others are and the roads arent wet... but I've got plans to see Hitchhikers Guide Galaxy at 8p...

 

Looks like we could pick a better day - not many can make it this Friday.

How about next Friday 5/6? Jason? Lyle? Everyone?

 

Yeah, 5/6 sounds good to me but I work until 11:30, I could probably bounce a half hour to 45 minutes early. Where would we meet??? Jason whatta u think??

We're not street racing! We're just cruisin together from town to town and when we get tired, we find a rest stop, pop our hoods to stay warm and talk MINIs.

Saturday I think would work better for me as well

 

So, when somone mentions "120+ on the San Mateo bridge" what does THAT mean? How smart is that!

Don't get me wrong, I like some spirited canyon carving as much as anybody. I would just hate to see people I consider friends get in trouble or worse hurt themselves or someone else.

Looks interesting. I could not get very far with the link. Twice when I clicked on Location on the Thunderhill website the internet shut down. I assume Willow is not Willow Springs. How far from which city with over 100,000 population? Thanks.
