Are the 2016 JCW 6MT being delivered? Mine has been at VPC since Friday and all I'm hearing from the MA is could sit there a month or two because of EPA hold ups blah blah. Am I just having smoke blown up my tail pipe or is this true? I've already been waiting since early May.

 

They are being delivered. Xpunisherx has received one named Billie.

 

But he's in Germany. I'm in Florida.

 

Well you didn't state in the U.S.. Just Kidding. I forgot he is in Germany. From what I have read no one in the U.S. has received one.

 

I called and they told me mine is sitting at the port waiting for a ship.

 

Mine is sitting in GA.

 

I got a call from my MA this past Monday (08/10/15) that it's already at the port, and it arrived at the dealer 2 days after that. And when I placed an order, it was around May 26, but didn't kick off on production until the 1st or 2nd week of July. So it's kinda odd that you're still waiting. And I live in NJ.

 

Got a call from my MA and mine will be at the dealer on Monday. I'll go down and pick him up on Friday. Yay!!!

 

Good to hear that they are finally getting to the dealers, the 2016's that is. We'll probably be hearing about more deliveries beings as it appears like they have been released. Never could figure out why, a car that basically hasn't changed from the previous year, is held up for emissions, mileage figures, or whatever. It's the same car, don't they see?

Anyway guys, enjoy, the long for you manual guys is almost over. My wait will begin in January, and I'm getting antsy already. Still haven't come to a conclusion on the color yet. Old reliable Chili Red with black roof, or up the anti to MoonWalk Grey with the Chili Red Roof, and definitely manual.

Yes...you are right that in Germany they are being delievered. But its good to hear that you guys in the US are getting yours as well! The wait was brutal, but the enjoyment i get everytime I drive Billie made the wait totally worth it!

 

My MA just sent me a sneak peek of my car. It's killing me to wait till Friday. 😁😁😁😁
