Seemed like this idea was getting some traction in another thread. We will need at least 6 cars and a venue with dyno arranged in order to get Jan up to SF. Interested parties so far include:

Edge Motorworks in Dublin is one potential location, although not clear they have the kind of dyno Jan prefers to work with. I've started the thread - now hoping someone else can grab the baton and run with it.

Let's make this happen!

 

This should have been in the same forum section Mini SC mods not the northern cali. However, I think everyone should take part in researching and finding out where we can have this set up.

Hopefully not January 19th - got a winshield replacement party to go to, and I need a windshield.

 

Seems I spoke too soon. We need to find a shop with a "Dynapack" dyno as this is what Jan prefers. Edge has another brand dyno.
I have a couple of other possibilities in mind.

Going along pretty well fellas. This saves me a trip to LA. Now we need to find a shop that has Dynapack dyno.

Hope the San Jose one will do for everyone since it is most central to the bay area.

San Jose is more central??? Not for me, buddy! It's an extra half-hour drive each way.

Fremont is closer for us in the Sacto direction, but which ever shop ends up working out is fine.

 

I should be on the list (see post #9).
