Well it's time for the second annual MINICup: a fun road rally that's not a race (first couple of cars to finish win great prize style items). MINICup 2 is a meet/road rally/bar-b-cue starting at Helix Minisports and ending at Yard's Philadelphia Microbrewery. We will meet at 10:00am on Saturday, March 20th, and take off shortly thereafter. The road rally will take about 2 hours, and follow some of the better driving roads around Philly. There will be several easy tasks that will have to be completed. This is not a race (the first few cars to complete it win fabulous prize style items). It will end at the fabulous Yards Brewery in Scenic Fishtown, Philadelphia for a bar-b-cue and awards ceremony. The event is open to anybody, teams or individuals, in any kind of vehicle, although MINIs will, of course, be heavily favored for the prize style items. Will eric be doing any mods 
I sure could use a smaller pulley.
Saturdays are tough for me these days (the last six years) but might be feasible. It would be a great way to celebrate the equinox (March 20) and work out any kinks for limerock March 22. SCDA has several slots still available and it would be great to get more MINIs out there. Like five so far.

What a blast at the HelixMINICup2!! It was great seeing all of our
MINI friends, some came from NY, CT, VT....and of course PA and NJ.
The race that wasn't a race! Thanks to an excellent navigator, there were no troubles whatsoever in my MINI! Except that we missed 1st place!
Thanks to Eric and his lovely wife Megan, for hosting and putting this together. Thanks to Yards Brewery for the guided tour and the free beer!
Thanks to those of you that cooked the hot dogs and hamburgs.
