Does anyone plan on attending the races at Lime Rock on Memorial Weekend? I don't know if this crowd goes. The Miata group does, but their thing is on Labor Day weekend now.

NYC mini owners stand up. I'm a classic mini owner from Queens. I get together with the mini owners group from Long Island (LIME) and they're a bunch of good guys. But would like to meet up with NYC mini owners classic or otherwise.

Classic mini owner here. I recently traded in my 2012 mcs , and my girlfriends 2009 r57 for a countryman s with jcw kit.
And I also picked up an 88 austin mini.
Let me know if you hear of any classic meets. I'm in the BX if you ever wanted to meet up. I've been to a hand full of local mini meets and have yet to see a classic (pre classic ownership)

Yeah I got rid of it and we picked up a nice countryman s with the jcw kit.
It's definitely no hardtop but I'm having a lot of fun for what it is. The extra space helps a lot, and I can't wait to try the all 4 this winter, since we are avid snowborders, the space and all4 was very appealing looking forward into the long drives in winters to come.
Anyway to back to the classic! It's a beaut. It's in the body shop now getting a light restoration. I figured not much going on now. Once it's out I'll let you know.

Oh ok...quite a distance away from. I have a great mechanic that I go to in Queens, NY. I can inquire as to how much they would charge and maybe that can give you a good idea of an independent shop price.

These guys did all the suspension work on my Mini. Every time it's been half of what they estimated the charge to be. They're literally the opposite of the reputation most mechanics have.
