The NEMINI run, ending at Bear Mountain was lots of fun! Small group, quick pace, good food!

I'm also in Queens, but JUST got my MINI less than two weeks ago. I did hear about a spot when I got my windows tinted. German Auto Care on 14-14 Astoria Blvd. I have yet to test, but the guy I spoke to says he'd recommend this guy. I know this thread is old, so let me know if you've found anything since your post!

Try Tyrol Sport in Queens

http://www.tyrolsport.com/

They worked on my MINI. Good group of guys and very knowledgeable. A bit pricey but they're a specialty shop so I didn't mind paying extra for the piece of mind.

I'm in Valley Stream, I'm primarily a car dealer, but have a shop in the building where I work on my own cars, and service customer cars. One of the shop techs is a BMW/MINI fiend, he can work on anything. All the work I've done on my personal Lotus and (last 3) MINI, he's helped me with it. He's currently building a 2008 Cooper S, it's quite fast...

I happened to bump into this guy last night when I went for my evening Dunkin Donuts fix, he has a 2011 Hardtop S with JCW tune, we got into some conversation, next thing he asked me to order him some go fast stuff for his car, and we are installing next week when it comes in. So I can help if need be as well.

By the way, I've been through an '09 Clubman S with JCW tune, a fully modded Countryman, and now a nicely modded F56...my new ride:

Guess this are doesn't get much traction. I'm just got my 2011 MCS R56 (N18) about 3 weeks ago with 68k. Currently doing all the maintenance. Good rule of thumb is do all the maintenance, but not all at one time.

It would be cool to meet up with some people.

Any of you track your car or any car for that matter? Any clubs in the NYC area.

North Jersey here. I had a 2006 MCSCa highly-modified (see below, as I've yet to update), but sold it less than a month ago.

Now, I have a 2015 F56, which I vow not to modify, at least not much. I'd look into a strut bar with strut top supports, assuming someone figures out how to make a good one. I'd maybe also play with some trims, but not sure I'd do much else.

Tires are P7 run-flats. A few other additions to the sticker here are, JCW CF Hood Scoop, JCW Pro Rear Sun Shade, JCW Pro Interior Mirror Cap, JCW Pro Exterior Mirror Caps, JCW Pro Key Fob, Mini Wheel Locks, Essential Black All-Weather Floor Mats, XPEL Ultimate (full hood, headlamps, front & rear bumpers, exterior mirror caps, door edges, & door cups), window etching, wheel/tire insurance, and a few odd goodies retained from my former Mini.

Jan form RMW is going to be at Helix in Philly for a tuning party 10/22-10/24. Did anyone sign up to go? I am planning on going and was wondering if anyone would be interested in caravan. They have 19 cars lined up over 3 days but who knows, some of us may go the same day (They are still working on the schedule).

Please PM me if you are going. I am going from NYC.

Hey guys. Brooklyn's here. Kingkong I'd be interested in that helix turnout. I hear good things of them. Is it possible to be squeezed into that? Tyrol gave me a pricey tune quote. Hopefully I can get a better price. Looking to install my dp and get a tune. Keep in touch!
