I was looking at Navtool today and they have a kit for the F series and it’s currently down to $499 if you apply the discount code for adding them on Facebook.
I have very similar one installed from Naviks from Brooklyn.
They sell/install the units. It has CarPlay + iPhone screen mirroring + front and rear camera and I'm using my stock ***** (2015 with media package).
Works pretty good but as it's not the OEM system, it has some limits and annoying things..

They sell and install units. I have 2015 F56S with media package and got their CarPlay + iPhone mirroring + F/R camera. Works pretty good for aftermarket unit on the OEM hardware (Screen/iDrive ****) but it def. has its quirky things.
I still haven't received the Navtool device. Ive been going back and forth with them and just sent an email for a full refund. Terrible terrible customer service, they don't email about delays or missing info; blame it on the automated system.

Try NAVIKS. It's pretty similar items and works decently well on my F56.
So after a month of waiting and countless excuses, I received an email today from NavTool stating and i quote "due to problems we have with fulfilment we have to cancel your order". The email after that was a full refund.
An entire month and this was the end result. Don't bother with them folks, I don't know what the story is but its not worth it.
I am going to continue with my original plan and get a replacement unit with CarPlay.
I finally have CarPlay in my 2016 F56. I got a plug and play box from ebay and had my brother install it. From what he told me it took hour and a half and it requires cutting a plastic cover if you have navigation like I did. If you have the 6” screen then you have the space for the extra cables and no cutting is needed. All the steering wheel buttons work except the voice and phone buttons since now I only have to say Hey Siri and it comes up without using the said button. We also had to set the tremble all the way up and bass to the middle to balance out the new audio source. Everything else works perfectly and without issues.
yeah i bought the Unichip SmartAuto interface for my R56. I got it for $439USD and wow, its bloody awesome!
SO happy with how this unit works. There are some bugs with connecting android auto....sometimes you get a black screen. i will report this though.
Carplay works just fine however.

Is this for an nbt evo unit? Will it work for HU-Entrynav?
