No CarPlay on 2018 2 Doors?

I was planning on ordering a 2018 2 Door JCW holding out for CarPlay functionality, but despite early rumors, it looks like it will only be available on 2018 Clubman and Countryman models?

Jesus. MINI is becoming such a weird mix of cheating out and gouging. $6500 more for the base model than last year? Are they insane?

It's a typo. The base hardtop went from $21800 to $22450. $650 more.
