I can't find "WiFi" certification logo on this head unit, so it may not be able to use Carplay.

Could you please take a picture of back panel ? I want to see all connector of this head unit.

Flashing, coding, custom FSC to match your cars vin is required. I have done it a few times.

 

Also need to get a usb cable as the EntryNav cable is not compatible with the NBT Evo

If you shave the trim on the usb cable a bit and rotate it 180 works fine. new screen cable is probably needed though.

 

I’ve done that but only for bench testing, won’t advise anyone to ruin their stock end in the car tho.

 

Looking to upgrade my daughters f56 mini s. She has the 6.5 non nav system. Was wondering what parts I need to have the touch 8.8. Also could someone tell me if this screen would work.

If you want to use 8.8 touch screen, this part number of 6820386 is the only one you can choice.

You also need to code it on HU_NBT_EVO for touch screen function as below

CID_TOUCH = AKTIV
CID_HMI_TOUCH AKTIV

HELP!!! I have finally received the 8.8 touch screen (6820386) to replace my 6,5 non touch version.

But it does not fit :( it seems that it is slightly bigger. Any advise??

also, why does it say no signal? Is it because i have not coded yet??

All i did was plug and play so far.

What exactly can't fit? Did you get the CID for an F60 that has Nav etc? The CID protrudes a bit more to accommodate the headhunit.

 

Whats the serial number for the CID you have? It looks like the CID for an F56.
Also is the top tab broken off?

 

hi this is my current screen (6.5). The whole part i bought (that has the touch and central instrument iri plastic) does not seem to match to sort of clip on and screw and then to be able to insert the plastic trim. Slightly bigger based on my understanding

 

Did you not get the CID (plastic frame) for the 8.8"? The 8.8" can't fit in the 6.5" frame.
