iPod adapter question

I have a 2004 MINI Cooper S with a Harman Kardon system and a CD Changer in the boot, both from the dealer. If I purchased the dealer iPod adapter, can I unplug the CD Changer from the radio head and plug the iPod adapter in there? Also I've heard rumors the the adapter will not work with the Harman Kardon system.

Note: There is no AUX port in the boot.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i don't know about the dealer ipod adapter, but the aftermarket ones are compatible with the HK, and they cost less and have more features

yes you will have to lose your cd changer

Have use the USA Spec and I have always had success with the product. I have had it on numerous cars and I have recommended to friends and it is never failed however it is limited in function. It is also built like a Russian tank..

Recently I have used the neo pro link on some friends cars because they wanted to bluetooth functionality it does provide a2 DP and hands free profile which thus far has worked flawlessly however the packaging is a little suspect and the support and documentation look a little shaky where as the USA Spec looks retail worthy.

I haven't had any experience with the dice media bridge so I can't say. What are you trying to accomplish?

Playing my iPod Touch 2 through the stereo is my first priority, but the ability to link my iPhone 4s via bluetooth for wireless voice calls is a big bonus. In addition, I read that DICE will let you connect SIRIUS as well. Just another added bonus.

For the neo pro link you get 2 inputs so you definitely can accomplish your goal minus having sat radio hooked up as well.

I have no working experience with the dice media bridge so I really can't comment on it
