hk amp wiring
OK apologies if this has already been answered but I couldn't find a definitive answer
It looks like from the wiring info on other peoples posts that the HK and non HK systems use the same headunit, boost in the us.
The HK amp seems to take the speaker level outputs from the boost head unit to the HK amp.
Then wiring from the HK goes to respective speakers.
I'm trying to find the smallest class d 4 channel amp running at 4 ohms in order to give me flexible speaker options.
Is this accurate?

No expert here, but I don't think I've seen anyone post finding an amp (other than another BMW unit) to replace the HK amp. I believe the issue is with the digital processing of the amp and the signals from the head unit.
well if i'm reading the diagrams and digesting people's information correctly. analog signals originate from the headunit, travel through wire to the hk amp then perhaps their is so post processing/conversion/cleaned up then retransmitted as analog signals to the various speakers
dsp is nothing more than adjusting preprogrammed settings to create different sounding acoustics. I don't think their is any closed loop feedback system like with a mic that is optimizing sound for a certain listening position.
to me, the wiring seems to function in an open loop type scenario.
