I am having trouble figuring out how to autostore HD stations on my 2008 HD-capable radio (with the navigation option.) In the manual, it shows that "Autostore HD" should be an option, along with "Autostore" but it doesn't seem to appear in the menu. I have really been enjoying the audio system (much better than I was expecting- perhaps improved on the Clubman midyear?)

Any sugestions how to get "Autostore HD" to show up?

 

Hmmm- I'll have to take a look at mine. I'm pretty sure I've done it, although I know it doesn't store or autostore HD2 stations. I'll check during my lunch break today and report back if you don't have any replies by then.

 

Thanks! That would be great. I just figured out today how to switch from HD1 to HD2/2 on each station, so I am still learning...

 

I noticed the same problem when reading the manual, yet I dont find the AutoStore HD in the UI.

 

Ah ha! Found it! The manual misses a step. Once you choose 'Autostore' from the top menu, the current station is highlighted on the display. Push the joystick _again_ to get the menu with 'AutostoreHD' in it, as long as the radio is in HD mode. Tricky, eh. I wonder if MINI will errata the manual...

That wouldn't be the only thing in the manual that needs updating. There's a few others. Glad to hear you sorted it out!
