Navigation & Audio Sub with stock radio
Depends, do you have the HK system?
I have a sub system hooked up to my "stock" radio. I say "stock" because The head unit and actually wires are still stock. I swapped out the speakers for JBL three ways, 6.5" up front and 6x9" in the rear. I have two Audiobahn 10" subs running on 1200W with a cap. of course. I wired the system quite easily. I used a line level converter. Connected the battery, RCA cables. Tapped into the left rear speaker for ignition and ran a fuse line all the way up to the fuse block and "smashed" it into the fuse that the head unit uses. I know this is not the best way to do it, but it works great and is safe. I have had the system running for almost a year and have had no problems what so ever.
This spring I may run a more professional install. I just have to figure it out. Let me know if you need any help. I can take pics in a few days and post them up. I will post some pics now...

I just added a sub to my stock non HK system a few weeks ago, pictured above. As mentioned by others, I tapped into the rear speakers for a signal, ran through a line level converter to the amp. I used the rear cigarette lighter for the remote on. Having the battery in the back of the MCS makes things easier, too. Getting the rear interior side panels out and put back in was the most difficult part for me. This was the first time for me hooking up an amp and sub, and it wasn't that bad, and I'm very happy with the results. I'm simply using the head unit's bass level and fader to tweak the bass level now that I'm content with the settings on the amp.
Good luck, and show pics of the setup that you end up using!

I like how Chris has his amp and capacitor mounted to the enclosure for easy removal as well as simple access and being hidden from view.
Thanks. I can have the entire thing be hidden behind the seats(whenever they are actually in the car)
But even when my RSD is in the car and my windows being tinted, you really have to be looking to break into the car to see it...unless it is sunny.
