Newbie Questions
Hey everyone, I'm new to the boards (and with that I should add that I am not too knowledgable about cars in general).
I was hoping you guys could help me out. I recently bought a Zune and I would like to be able to use it with my car. I'm driving a 2005 MC. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations as to what parts I need to hook up the Zune to my car, and where I could purchase them. Thanks!

Well I know I would need some kind of adapter for that but I'm not exactly sure what I would need for my car. I looked it up online and found this http://http://www.logjamelectronics....undauxbmw.html. Would that be what I need?
Oh, nice! So the 2005 model head unit does have that auxiliary port, where I could just install that? I wasn't sure what I had to do, I went to a couple of local car audio shops and asked if they knew what I had to do.
One of the shops and my dealership both quoted me a price of $200 for the part and installation but I thought I'd make a post and find out if there's a cheaper alternative. Can't really afford that on a college budget =/

Personally, I'd ignore the part about drilling a hole to mount the Aux-in input. The OEM location is in the glovebox, but I just leave it floating as it attaches to the Belkin charger I have.
