Mini Spoilers

Hey guys, I have a general question (I did use the search function for a few hours and I did find a thread but the pictures and the information did not help me) I just want to know if the spoiler above will fit my 2011 R56 the part number that I was given is 51710404125 and I could not find it on any OEM parts list. Thanks!

Hm, the part number I'm getting that will fit the R56 is the JCW spoiler 51710404126 (6 instead of a 5 on your part number). And from looking at real OEM, the image below looks very similar to the image you have shown. Different part number for it though 51710420491. Couldn't find that part number you listed unfortunately.

That's the euro part spoiler , we did not get here. Here is the PDF install.

The parts we did get are the single JCW Carbon Fiber spoiler with two mounts. 51710404126

Are these cosmetic or actually functional and provide measurable downforce?

Not sure if it's sarcasm or not haha but I'm honestly going to say cosmetic. My rear end looks so plain and basic so I want to add a lil spice to it to even out

If anything , they provide some downforce and possible clean up the air on the back ( more aerodynamic ) might keep the dust down on the trunk lid some. I remember people talking about a " less dirty boot " .

Its rare to see the JCW wing.

They tested with the GP2 and GP1 rear wing.
