Let us know who you are and where you're from if you're coming to MUTA, and even if it's a slim chance you'll be able to make it, still let us know you're thinking about it.
As of right now I am planning on doing MUTA. I am also trying to get to MITM . My only reservation with MITM is that my wife is due to have a baby just 2 weeks before and I am not sure she will be ready to take the baby on a road trip.
But MUTA is just the medicne I need to keep me going.

Texas folk are always welcome!!! I have family living in west Texas.
No problem Steve, we'll let you know. Expect a new thread to start when we get the campground and Hotel lined up. It's a bit tough to find the right hotel down there since so many people go camping down there. We're close I think, so we'll let you know.
Good, glad to see some folks from the Northwest as well. We'll be looking for ya.

Well, very nice. San Diego isn't too bad of a drive either. We look forward to seeing you in Moab.
We're really close to getting our Hotel and campground rates locked up.

Newt here, in Prescott, AZ. New Mini owner and this sounds like my cup of tea! Did a trip to Page/Canyonlands/Moab/Arches about 10 years ago car camping in my beemer and liked it a lot. Looking at MITM also, but this is closer and the scenery is maybe better. Keep me posted on what I have to do now. Thanks
Been there many times...
...but it's been awhile. Attended a few Fat Tire Festivals way back, have riden Slickrock Trail many times. I would die now.
Lots of incredible roads any direction.
Hope everyone can stay out for at least one sunset photo shoot.

Manitoba, Canada...and would die to come but can't this year due to school. Next year is already booked, so don't stop this event! Moab is the most beautiful place anywhere on this earth....spectacular scenery...the only drawback is that you'll want to drive all those roads but won't be able to look around....or you'll drop off a cliff!

If gas doesn't run out, we want to come.
We were there in May 2004 on our Goldwing, May 2005 in our Miata (traded for a Mini in 2006). Now we need to go to Moab in our Mini Cooper.
Looking forward to it. Any update on motels?

Hey we will be there, Moab, and we will see how many of our group will come play for the weekend. Moab is in our backyard less than 1 1/2 hrs from Grand Junction Colorado. We go to Moab for lunch just to get in a different drive on occasion. Lots of new hotel/motels open now. Email a flyer and we will get the word out!!! 3mclub@bresnan.net

We picked up Monty one week before a mini rally in Texas. He was the only one with paper plates! We let the dealer know our plans and he was the first car prepped off the truck! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you. We're still planning to try and make it. Need more information, though. Uh, Mattman, you listening?
I'm going for sure. I can't make MITM although I'll be in Denver end of August. The smaller get togethers are sometimes better especially in a place like Moab. You can't get too many idiots in a place like that and survive.
Hey BIGNEWT, maybe we can join up somewhere on 40 on the way up. I'm gonna try and get a few from down here in Tucson to caramini with me...
I'm pretty sure I'll be hitting i-40 at the junction with 77.
Let me know what you think.
Mattman, you're doing great, keep up the good work and bring your dog!
