Still on the fence but I've decided to list my 2013 GP2 for sale and see if there's any interest. I've only had the car for a few months and and it is truly a blast but Im thinking of changing direction.
Willing to sell the car for 17.5k with the factory wheels and the following mods. Wagner Competition Intercooler M Qubed Downpipe NGK Plugs RPM Stage 2 Tune
I have the following parts that could be added to the sale at an additional cost
BSH Lower Engine Mount
M7 Strut Tower J Brace
Forge Recirc Valve
Second set of Team Dynamics Lightweight wheels mounted with a fresh set of Firehawk Indy 500 tires
CAE Shifter with red ****
Snow Performance W/M Kit
Sneed 4 Speed Roll Bar
I don't know what production number it is but I can tell you I'm the fourth owner based on the Carfax when I bought it. The car has been in California its whole life and was originally sold by East Bay Mini in Pleasanton.
The car has all the original documentation (including the window sticker) and includes the GP suspension adjustment wrenches.
There are a few spots where the previous owner scraped them but the tires are brand new w/ less than 500 miles. Also there are two spots on the carbon fiber wing where the clear coat is pealing and a few nicks on the steering wheel trim and passenger window. Photos can be seen at the following link. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmKmaBE1
Located in the Orange County Area. PM me with any interest or questions.
Thanks.

Is the interest for a GP2 not as strong as I thought?
Given there are only 500 in North America, I thought there would be a bit more interest in the car.. I've only had 3 people message me about it in 3+ months..
Is there anything else you all would like to see or know about?

Been drooling over this car.. Surprised it hasn't sold yet either.. I saw you have an all leather steering wheel. I have the Alcantara version with OEM CF spokes. Would you be interested in a trade?

I think you hit it on the nose. The demand is just not strong for this specification of car. Most people buying in this price range and body style will be buying something like a Golf R because they are interested in big power in small packages, and less so about Mini styling or JCW whatever.
Having said all that, I don't think it's priced incorrectly. Just gotta wait for the right buyer, I guess.
Thanks for the feedback. I figured collectibility would be similar to that of a 1M or Boxster Spyder, but looks like I'll just need to wait around for the right buyer.

I was interested in the car but seeing what some sold on BAT with lower miles I got cold feet.
There have been exactly 8 Mini GP2s listed on BAT. One didn't sell because the reserve wasn't met, and all the others went for north of $20k.
Don't forget, there is a 5% buyers tax on any of the selling prices you all are seeing on BAT.
It would cost anyone $1925 to add the mods I have on the car, and that's not including in shipping or install.
Thus, I'm effectively selling the car for $15.6k which I think is an extremely fair selling price given its mileage and condition.
Im sorry for the tone of my response but I'm tired of hearing, "Well one sold for 16.5k on BAT with lower miles".
Just remember cars lose collectible value the more you mod them.
I would put yours in the driver's car class. Someone who loves minis and wants an Exclusive rare one to drive and enjoy.
All the ones except for the modded one on BAT had a lot of attention/bids.
I briefly had a GP2 back... on man 5-6 years ago. Same miles as yours had now. I stole it off eBay for 17.2k and a few months later sold it for 19k after going a different direction with my e46 M3.
The value on the GP1 has skyrocketed and I expect the Gp2 to follow suit (It slowly is)
Just don't expect collector car money for a modded car. Its a Drivers car at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with that, as a lot of people myself included prefer it that way!
Thank you guys for the feedback. I was really hesitant to make the mods I did, but as you said its a drivers car! With the tune and supporting parts, its has the perfect balance of drivability and power based grin
I guess I'll just have to continue to enjoy it until the right buyer comes around.
