That's a nice find! I was pondering a few days ago about converting a clubman into a pickup truck.

 

Something else you don't see everyday is this farout crazybrain monstermobile deathtrap ratrod which has been listed on ebay motors for the last few weeks.

Some of the details are neat and it did require an outlaw beatnik imaginative vision along with a good many hours of bloodsweattears dedication, so I can appreciate that aspect, but it just ain't my cuppa for numerous logical reasons. =P

I can't tell if that's an N14 motor in that funny mini. Anyway, I can tell there's something wrong because the steering wheel is not lined up properly, so something's amiss.

What a great list, thank you! I emailed the first one at 5am with my phone number; not a peep out of him.

I've contacted about a dozen on autotrader with 3 responses. One was an idiot private seller claiming his R56 was a factory JCW (umm nope), one salesman texted said he'd call me as soon as he got to the dealership (never heard back), and one I actually spoke with - he did a facetime video of the car with me and I told him I'd pay his asking price but not his 'dealer doc' fee of $400. Not the way they do it at his dealership, nothing's negotiable there he says. I guess business is really good.

Someone else on NAM has a JCW coupe for sale, but just a little over my budget I'm afraid.

And I thank you AeroJammin as well for posting these. Huge help! I've been out of the MINI game since I sold my DS/B MCSa way back in 2010. I never experienced a 6MT and now I'm wanting one as a fun car. I'm ONLY looking at 05-06 R53 cars, preferably with JCW, but MUST have an Aero Kit. That said, are you ready to sell yours yet???

My ideal configuration is a CR/CR slicktop but I'll consider (almost) any R53 if it has JCW and Aero Kit. I'm definitely not a fan of liquid yellow or BRG. And Electric Blue isn't high on the list. Anything beside that is pretty much fair game.

MINI_42, are you in the same boat as me from an R53 standpoint or are you looking for something specific?

 

Awesome stuff Aero! Why does everyone use stinking facebook? I hate it and always have, and have never used it. I figured I'd only ever get on it if I wanted to lose my wife and/or my job. Am I gonna have to risk all that and get on there just so I can get a Mini? The answer is a pretty clear 'yes'.
