Just a FYI for those that might be interested in a car show fairly close.
Friday April 20 - Sunday April 22
Mitchell, NE (10 miles west of Scottsbluff) on Highway 26
Scottsbluff County Events Center
Friday 20 April: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM Move in at Event Center
Saturday 21 April: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Car Show
Sunday 22 April: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Car Show
** Trophy Presentation at 4:00 PM Sunday **
1st & 2nd Place Trophies for the following categories:
Pre 50 Antique, Nifty Fifty, Under 21, Classic, Muscle Car
Pre 50 Street Rod, Low Rider, Sport Compact, Late Model 80 and Newer
Corvette, Pick-up, 4x4, Competition and more
(a MINI could fit into Sport Compact or Late Model 80 and Newer)
This is an indoor show with over 25,000 sq ft of heated display area.

I've never been to this show, but my dad has and says it is really well run with an excelent turn out. I will probably be there.

So just a quick update. I took home first in the Sports Compact division. Very fun show and a lot of variety with about 60 cars in the show. Oh and an inside car show is much easier - no dust or wind to worry about.

Thanks Heather. It was very fun looking at the swirls in the other cars and it was tough to resist the temptation to point out how they could have done better.
