AMVIV REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!
It is time to start planning your road trip to Las Vegas June 14 -17, 2012.

Last years event was an amazing time yet our committee members are determined to make this event even more spectacular! We will continue some staple pieces to the event like motors, S.A.F.E. House Judged Car Show and vendor alley! In addition to the traditional parts we will also offer additional activities.

Don’t be surprised when you see that this year we are offering pole dancing classes at Stripper 101 in the V Theater in Planet Hollywood. We teamed up with Stripper 101 to give AMVIV 9 attendees a great rate on this adult activity, hopefully you learn some new moves for Saturday’s Pool Party (this party is so amazing we will have a separate announcement for it).

I'll be going this year. Leaving on Thursday and back on Sunday. My little bro will be going with me as well. So at least two Minis.

 

Karen and I will be headed there again this year. We'd join up with you all again in Grand Junction/Fruita like we did last year for a run out there, if anyone's interested!

We're flexible but were thinking of going on the 14th of June, returning on the 17th. I'm not sure what time people left from Denver last year but we met up for lunch at the Fruita I-70 exit and gassed up and filled/emptied the tanks for the leg through Utah. It wasn't great weather but we had 5 or 6 cars, I think. We took a group picture in Mesquite!

 

That's awesome. My brother and I will be leaving on 17th early in the morning. So at least 2 Mini's will be going that way on Thursday.

 

Possibly 3...we haven't decided if we're going to take my 2002 MCS or Karen's 2008 Clubman! Or both!!

 

Good to see you guys getting lined up and going to AMVIV.

Any chance I can send/give you some MINI5280 tagging cards and some MITM tagging cards so you can plaster them on all the MINIs at AMVIV?

I can mail you cards or if I see you give you a bunch. At last years MITM, the folks from SINCITY MINI plastered AMVIV all about, you up for it, payback.

 

Oh yeah... anything for Mini5280. I will be at Auto show this Saturday, you can give them to me at that time. I will make sure it goes to every car (not just Minis) in that parking lot... probably double tagging anyone with Sincity stickers on their cars.

 

The booktrout Clan is going to AMVIV this year. The only thing is we are planning on leaving early and hitting the Grand Canyon for the first part of the week. We're going for the group rides, MINIs and Minis, and maybe take in a Vegas show.

We will definitely be up for the caravan home, that's if we can Keep up.

We had a suggestion to try something new this year for AMVIV. Our fearless Queen (Jules), Evil Twins (Chris Tunison and myself) and the lovely Goddess (Karen Day) went on the recon mission, and it was AMAZING! This year we are going to have something for everyone!!

• new twists to our runs.
• new plan for the strip cruise
• bigger better party's
• activities (ideas for the adults and the kiddo's)

Your MINI Vacation will include runs to Oatman, Death Valley, Mt. Charleston and the 12 Miles of Terror (circa Bagdad, AZ)! That last one is a new one for AMVIV – we’ve done it as a Club in the past and it was a blast. What better time to re-visit than when we’ve got a group of folks headed back that way to join us.

Hello from Las Vegas!
For those of you that remember this MINI:

I moved to LV about a month ago, and I'm missing Colorado terribly! I of course made it one of my top priorities to get in touch with other MINI owners once I got out here, so I joined SCMC. They are a fun, interesting group, and definitely passionate about their MINI's!
It would be GREAT to see some of you at AMVIV here in Vegas! It does get hot here during the day, already 95+ several days. The nights however are amazing! Night cruising is the rule out here! Went on my first cruise up the strip with a pack of MINI's last night. Very Cool!
Anyway, anybody coming out for AMVIV, if you need info about anything, or help with anything, let me know! Since I'm a local now, I can get some discounts on stuff and it's always nice to have a local resource!

Anyone leaving on Thursday June 14th morning for Vegas?

 

We might. Still deciding if we are going to leave Wednesday or Thursday.

 

Looking forward to seeing those of you coming to Vegas! It should be a great time! We went to WUSTE at The same casino AMVIV is at, last weekend! It was mostly VW's, but Sin City MINI Club made a good showing, maybe 10 MINI's.
Make sure you bring mostly hot weather clothes! It will be very hot out here!!
Make sure you guys look for me next to Bernie, my MINI!

Psst! Hey you guys I overheard that AMVIV's Thursday night meet up at the Blue Ox Tavern is a Beer Swap in the parking lot. I don't think they'll drink it on the property, but will sneak it back to Palace Station and enjoy themselves at a yet to be disclosed location.

Also heard about an "XXX" Poker Run location that is VERY INTERESTING to say the least. The run is for grown folks, and will not be in competition with the other Poker Runs for family types.

Myself, I wanna see the Pajama Strip Cruise. Vegas Baby!!!

 

@Pew1375, I will be leaving on Thursday early morning with whoever shows up and should be able to arrive around 5ish Vegas time. I booked the room at Palms but should be able to stop by Palace Station first. We will look for you.

@Minian, XXX Poker run sounds fun, but I have a kid in tow. So I have to give that one up, but we sure will joining everyone for the Pajama run.
