Getting Through the Firewall

Just got one of Craven's twin pod gauge adapters for my F56 JCW and was wondering if anyone had already run wiring thru the firewall? Autometer provides grommets with the gauges I bought, but if there's a path already available that can be piggybacked onto I'd sooner go that route. Other cars I've had provided sealed nipples that you could clip the top off and feed thru with the main harness - does Mini provide something like this? I know folks like GregoryK have fitted driving lights that required wiring but since this was a Mini product I wasn't sure if there might not be a path already in the car. Anyway, if you know of a path to breach the firewall without drilling a hole that maintains a decent moisture seal, I'd like to know about it.

TIA
