I saw that. It sounds better on this clip than any other clips I've seen or heard. Plus this is close to real world sounding being on the dyno and all. Nice work Rick.

I use 91 octane Shell v-star from my local shell station

I think that I can attribute my numbers to the color yellow.

Yellow cars go very, very fast...

Oh, I only use Jet fuel when the wings are on the car!

I like those wings, where did you score the set? Can you maintain 1500 feet and for how long?

Yes, yellow produces HP, but I suspect DS is a stealth HP producer, look at the results.

I guess we will have to put a color column in the work sheet.

Thanks. What made the video sound better was the fact that there was no wind blowing into the mic (camera), as there would be if recording an actual drive on the road. Also, most other video clips of exhaust sounds are taken from a standstill as the MINI drives away, so the volume is lost.

For those who dyno'd Sat., Don and I have all of the DynoJet files from MAC. I have successfully downloaded and run the software that allows you to view your results (hp, torque, mixture, etc) in different ways, print, export, etc. If you want me to email your files to you (don't know when MAC will send them), send me a Private Message with your email address.

The viewing software is "WinPEP 7", from Dynojet Research . Click Auto Dynamometers tab, then click ENTER WEBSITE or just click here. Click Downloads then Software. Click the small WINPEP logo/icon. The software only supports Windows (PC, not Apple/Mac). You'll have to uncompress the download and install (execute setup). Let me know if you have any questions.

It was great to know how much power and torque my 07 turbo MCS had. I thought it would be way less then I thought. Extremely happy with the results, so it's time to add another mod. Looking to add the Alta exhaust. Thank you Don and Chuck for putting this event together.

Chuck updated image

Yes, he did. We had a few additions in the mods list and I added a color column so we could see where the real power prevails.

I'm really sorry I missed out on this one! Life keeps getting in the way of my MINI fun time. =(

Don good pulls, My MINI compares closest to yours with the auto trans and DDM CAI, and I really like those #'s. It is really hard to believe that the DDM gives 10+ HP(just comparing Don's pulls to Vicki's)

One thing that really surprises me is the HP of the R56 JCW and how close it is to a regular S or is there something I'm missing??
