if you be cool at one of the events the organizers will probably give you an extra armband... i got a couple extra ones at laguna seca - it isn't impossible...

I took some pictures hanging out at the car wash and top off location in Dallas. I was standing there talking to Ian and didn't even realize it (actually, I talked to a lot of folks I didn't know). I would definitely recommend doing as much of the trip as you are able. One leg is NOT enough. I recommend planning on this, as if you do one leg, you'll be willing to break both personal and business commitments to do another, so you may as well just plan for more from the get go. I came home almost a week ago and I still have the shakes from the withdrawls.
Well I am on sabbatical for the next few weeks, so I am thinking that if I have the time, I should make the drive. Just wish I had planned better so I could have started in CA.
