... must not have the right version of flash or something alpinamike as your link comes up blank for me... bummer...

Halfway between albuquerque and amarillo MTTS legs I left and headed south to Roswell, Las Cruces, Phoenix, and home to L.A. - all in one day's drive... Still in withdrawals though although it's almost been one week... I'm sure I'm not alone... :(

But the website is very broken and the card only offers a password, not a user name, so you can't get in anyway!

We are going to join you again Ian, in DC, but you are the man for making it through every leg. As I figure it, you are the only non corporate GP to make the entire trip?

I still have not washed 0019.

George also - he decided not to stop in Dallas but to continue with me - his GP, if not him, features regularly on my pictures (he is GP#0154).

A little late, but we just wanted to say a big "Thank You" to everyone who helped cheer us up after our accident in Indy. The kindness and encourgement really means a lot to us.

We made it home without any problems, despite some rain. The insurance company has done their part, and Gromit is now in the shop. It appears that all the damage was to body panels, and there appears to be no suspension, frame, or other major damage. Hopefully he will be back with us in about 2 weeks. We're already having withdrawal symptoms.

We made a request of the body shop to do what they could to preserve the door everyone signed, so hopefully we will have a unique souvenir of our MTTS experience. Our goal was to meet as many MINI owners as we could, but sure didn't expect it to be the way it ended up. It was great to be able to put faces and names with NAM screen names, and to meet many other MINI owners from all over.

We hope everyone else finishes the run with out any problems.

Sorry it happened to you - but very glad it was such a relatively minor accident with no injuries

Oh my god, I didn't realize that was Gromit! We saw you there at the speedway and just didn't realize. I am so sorry. I hope Gromit will be all better soon!

I wish we weren't famous for that though!

Anne, we had planned on trying to meet you while in Indy, but we were a little preoccupied. Maybe we can catch you at an MINICCI club event some time.

alpinamike, we didn't see your poster so we didn't get to sign it.

I actually did speak to you briefly (red hair with red MINI cap, accompanied by a small and very excited 10 year-old girl with a pink shirt) but I didn't know it was you!

I plan to join MINICCI. They have an event planned for October but no info about it. I hope we'll be able to go. After participating in MTTS, I've got the MINI road trip bug BAD!!! (I can't remember when I've had this much fun!)
