The mirror cap came with an indentation/divet where the hole should be. I manually (and carefully) cut it out with an Exacto knife. It is aligned, and there are no fitment issues. Slides right on like the factory ones do.

F60 JCW mirror caps (genuine MINI) $75 for the pair. Driver side mirror cap has a hole for puddle light.
