HKS pipe

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to change things up a bit. I'm looking to add an HKS bov to my setup but am just missing the pipe. I don't care if it has a noisemaker delete. I already have the bov. I know many of you think this is a pointless mod but I'm just trying it out. If you have anything just send me a PM.

Thanks

There was a vendor who was selling the pipe and would sell the combo (including valve) as he would weld the valve to the pipe. I can't seem to find the vendor, but i'm also interested in this as I could run the boost gauge straight off the valve right? Using the AEM intake, it blocks the spot where you could use the bsh tap.

I have this HKS setup. It works perfectly and sounds awesome. Everyone said I would throw a CEL but it works great. laforze you actually need a spot to get vacuum for this valve, it won't provide vacuum/boost for you. I used a tap off of the MAP sensor then switched to the BSH boost tap.

Did you need a block plate in place of the stock dv?

What setup did you have for the maf? I can't fit the bsh due to my intake :(

Also, who is the setup from that you're running now? I was trying to search nam, but it's going to take me awhile to find who was selling this.

You keep the stock DV, but this BOV is faster so it beats it once you're over 5psi. I like that because any low boost and you can keep quiet, the stock DV releases it. But once you get on it the SSQV really opens up.

Run something like this for boost and the HKS http://www.nm-eng.com/231/11/0/1458/...ensor-tap.html

I am running the kit straight from HKS. Part number 71007-LE001 for the old SSQV 3 kit or # 71008-LE001 for the new SSQV 4 kit. I have the SSQV 3.

Damn. I can't run that either. AEM confirmed it doesn't fit when my car was at their facility during prototype.

Not sure what you can do then. Find a vacuum line and tap off of that?
