This is the ALTA Accessport for a Mini Cooper S and JCW. It can be used for either the S model or the JCW model. I had this on my 2009 JCW and WOW this tune will really make it fly. Do some research on the web and you will really be amazed! I called ALTA when I sold my Cooper to verify how to uninstall and save the tune, and I followed their instructions. So this set-up includes the unlocked Performance Tune. Just plug it in and follow the instructions. ALTA tells me that it will know if you have the S or JCW.

This is a REALLY cool part for INSTANT performance. You can not buy this kit anymore because they were just too expensive to make. I checked with ALTA and this kit should upgrade the tune for 2007-2010 S models and 2008-2011 JCW models. You can verify if the tune will work for your vehicle by calling ALTA technical support, or searching this forum.

I will also include the ALTA "Blow Off Valve Stiffy" It is a spring that you replace in the blow off valve. This part is unused and comes in the original packaging.

 

FWIW it does work to 2012 jcw's GLWS

 

Spinned, I am interested in the Acessport you are selling. I have not read the full thread on the forms here but i am on page 130 something out to 150. So i have a pretty good idea of the benefits of the device. Would you be able to send me or post a picture of the accessport screen where it says "installation state" from the "about accessport info" screen?

I have a 09 JCW. Is the tune your talking about different than the tunes that come with it?

The ALTA AccessPORT tune is kick ***. It makes the stock tune seem like a Honda civic.

Research the forums and you should find a lot of information.

 

How would the Access port tune. Compare to Battletune?

IDK... it was the best available. From my experience, it pulls everything you can possibly get from the engine so personally, I don't know if there would be any competition.

I took this Accessport over to ALTA Performance and they hooked it up to their computer. They verified that this unit is clean, unmarried and ready to be installed on your Mini. Look at the additional pictures to see screenshots of the status of the Accessport. Check it out on eBay - link above
