Morristown this week

I'm scheduling for service this week, and will be going to Morristown, while I'm there I will be picking up some stuff for winter. Just seeing if anyone would like to come too. We can test drive the R56 . It will probably be on Thursday.

Hopefully I'll see ya on Friday and let me know how you like the R56 if you take one out for a test drive.

I guess I won't be doing my oil change at Morristown. Instead I'll be going down there to pick up an oil filter, so I can do it myself. I thought after each oil change they reset the computer. Oh well, I will still be going down to Morristown to pick up some stuff, if anyone wants to come down your more than welcome too.

Did you end up going to M-Town?

Over here it was mostly rain with a slushing coating on some surfaces. But I heard on the news it was a ice rink up north.

I scheduled my car for service tomorrow, so I'll be there by 11 so they can fix my car. There was a problem with my trunk, it unlocked by itself, and when I closed it, I couldn't open it again. Then I did a search and I had to flick the lights on and off to send an electrical signal to the back so it would unlock. So hopefully they can duplicate the problem because my warranty ends next week, so I need them to fix it. Maybe they can also replace my front badge.

So Vic, I'll see you tomorrow.

The same thing happened to my car, and it happened two or three times. Is it just the cold weather? Let me know what's up. I might have to get my car serviced too.

I've checked the forums and found out that if you get water or any type of moisture through the boot handle that it messes up the sensor. Making it won't open. It was the first time happening to me, but I don't want it to happen again.

So I'm back from Morristown with some good news. So the boot handle was the source of the problem. When they took it off they found the wires inside all corroded so that was a problem. They also fixed my front badge. It looks so much better now. The bad news is I have to wait 2 weeks because they had to send the boot handle to get it painted before they can install it onto my car. I also bought some stuff there as well.
