Yes.

Thanks mini=love for the specific details on the Men's Journal source. I'll update the list in the next day or two.

GBMINI, can I borrow your dwell scans for the list? libraryofmotoring.info/miniprintads.html

OK James...I'm a little rusty with this and my sources aren't as specific as I'd like them to be but.... the new Motoring Hearts booklet is in the May Esquire magazine(subscription issue) My source(my mom) said -oh by the way I got you one of those MINI ads you like out of the new Esquire mag- So when I questioned her about the page...she had no clue!!! Sorry but it's a lead!!

Hmmmm...hopefully there will be many more ads to follow soon!!!

I live near Kings Dominion in VA, where they're opening the new Italian Job roller coaster this summer. In the mail yesterday I got a coupon magazine with a picture of the CR MINI coaster car on the front cover. If anyone wants it, let me know - I'd be happy to drop it in the mail to you.

Thanks Anne. I'll check my library's copy for the page numbers.

Hi Everyone! I was in New York over the weekend and I got a couple of cool things. I went to the NY Auto Show and there were girls in MINI t-shirts passing out little scratch-off game pieces. So I had my husband grab two and I grabbed two. Then I found two more already scratched-off, so I grabbed those too! The game piece is a picture of a CR MINI and the silver roof is silver scratch-off like a lottery ticket. Depending on what is under the silver, you could win either a poster, a t-shirt, a small-scale MINI model, or something else that I can't remember. And the back has a form to fill out to win a trip to Oxford.

I scratched one of the pieces and won a poster, but I had to go to a local dealership to pick it up. So I went to Manhattan MINI (conveniently located down the street from the Javitz Center where the Auto Show is held) and picked it up! Here are some pics...

Dig the roof graphics. Could you imagine a saguaro (you know, for the Arizona show...)?

That reminds me...

They had the same pictures that are in the poster all along the huge 2-story wall next to the MINI display at the show. Very cool!

Anyone in Orlando looking to buy a house this month??

I'm sure someone has seen this already, but my Mom just sent a few clippings from the Orlando Sentinel - (home section I'm guessing).

Seems there is this builder that is having a Garage Sale on some of their Ready to Move in models and they are including a Mini Cooper

Now of course we all know they will recoop the cost in some other manner and I haven't read all the restrictions, but the car looks to be a MCS JCW

My folks live in Mt Dora and have been trying to get us to move down for a few years. In here note, she said we could use her place to store it

I just don't think I can give up these roads around here, they're made for a MINI

That JCW MCS is at Downtown MINI. You won't be getting a free one of those but instead an MC with few options. I have some of these flyers.

It has been claimed already, but I'll get a picture of it up before I send it to the boardie who's getting it. I'll ask some friends to see if they got any in the mail as well - I might be able to snag a couple more copies.

Since I don't live in VA anymore, fat chance of me finding one of these out in CA.

However, I AM in VA (actually DC) on extended business for the next 2 months or so....have ANY idea where I might find one of these on a rack somewhere? Help....must have for my collection - LOL!!

Unfortunately I don't think you can find it on the racks anywhere - it only goes out in the mail, and Richmond is the only area in VA where it's found. And I seriously have no idea how they determine who gets it, either. At the previous two addresses I lived at, we didn't get it (one is right down the road from where we live now), but it just started showing up at our new place. Go fig. I'm trying to find some friends who may have gotten it and not thrown it out. Donna, I'll add your name to list of people who want one. If I can get 'em, I'll let ya know.

Got Swifty some warrantee work done this week. Picked up a new 4" x 4" booklet MOTORING HEARTS, with graphic of a bulldog. "Let's be a bunch of good-for-somethings" is the theme.
