Thanks. I'm working on getting the list up-to-date with ads I have posted here over the past few months.

I know I'm very LATE in responding to this. Yep - I'm still around - just been slammed at work.

I've not seen or heard of any new ads lately...booo...

I got clicked out of my response so I don't know whether to repeat it all or not. Anyway, Donna, I feel bad for your work situation and want you to come to one of our local Mini Cooper owners functions. I want you to draw the # to receive my gift: for a long time I've been buying any product that has "Mini" in the title, e.g. yesterday I found Mini Charleston chews and other Mini candies at Dollar Tree. Well, if you don't care for my gift, I can buy you whatever you like to drink and maybe a.....(get ready) a "mini burger."(Tee-hee) Here's to some uplifting Mini Cooper ads! Susan

Thanks for the offer! Where do you live?

I have some new finds to report! Don't have photos, but here are some descriptions...

From the dealerships:

Three year MINI magnet calender w/ the MINI bulldog in the background

New MINI convertible catalog/brochure

A card that says "It's what's inside that counts" - has the silouette of the convertible cut out. Kind of hard to describe, but you are suppose to stand at a distance from the convertible, place the card at eye level and read the features of the new convertible.

Brochure advertising MINI Motoring Graphics - cover says "Your MINI has you written all over it".

I also found a new MINI magazine insert advertising the new convertible in the April newstand copy of Outside magazine, before the first page. It says "Open Up". Flip the page up and you get a small poster (approx. 22" x 17") that says "Unlimited Headroom". LOL! I found this by chance. Went to Borders and looked though magazines MINI has advertised in the past. Voila!

Thanks Suzkatz!

Something I forgot to mention. My dealership (so I'm guessing all dealerships) was in the process of setting up a "Create Your Own Brochure" rack. They haven't received all the materials/literature from MINI, so right now it's just an emtpy stand with several slots for materials. Something else to look forward to!

eBay?

Thanks for the heads up Maxxboy! I'll definitely ask!

Are you, and for that matter, anyone finding ads and other desired memorabilia on eBay? A while back someone listed some categories within Mini Cooper under which to look. Anyone finding success within those perviews? I used to have great success looking at all MC entries and just haven't thrown myself back into it all! Anyone?

Anyone?

Anyone?

I've had a little luck using eBay and eBay Stores. Thing is you have to email the seller to verify the ad you want is in their copy. Some reply and some don't. I also had luck calling the magazine publishers themselves for back issues. A few MINI friends have helped me with my collection too! You can also check out your dealership. They get some of the ads for the showroom.

My MINI magazine ad collection is mainly the removable inserts. I now have all of them with the exception of a couple different versions of the same ad (still looking for the skull&crossbone gas cover decal). They are currently in a three ring binder w/ the protective sleeves, but I'm about to re-do it all in a nice scrapbook. I'll have to post a photo or two when I'm done!

Another new Convertible ad:

FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELT AND TIE DOWN THE DOG.

SportingNews. March 30, 2009. (back cover)

I need to get out and search more often now that new Convertible ads are out.

LOL! I found the same ad looking through magazines at the dentist office today. Same print ad in May issue of Vanity Fair, page 65.

I also found the UNLIMITED HEADROOM flip-up poster ad in the April 2009 issue of Dwell (inside the front cover).

I have a MINI Print Ads and Inserts Hunter's Guide you can use when looking for MINI magazine ads.

Yes, it's on the back of one of the cards (with the bulldog) on the "Build Your Own Brochure" display at your MINI dealer.

If anyone has information on any MINI ads from 2009, please post them. I don't have the access to current magazines like I used to, but I'd like to get the MINI Print Ads and Inserts pages up-to-date.

I have the JCW gum. I also had the bottom one from the post above mine (#621), with the 3 MINIs.

When I went to my MINI dealer Countryman event, I got lots of cool trading cards and sticker sheets. (Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the trading cards and sticker sheets).
