ZIG. ZAG. ZUG.
  • Spin. March 2008. (between pages 32 & 33)
Print ads begin next month, using the Zig, Zag, Zug theme in Rolling Stone and the April issue of Men's Journal. The April issue of The New Yorker will have false covers with Zig And Zag Mini ads. Other magazine buys are in books like Seed and XLR8R. Print includes an insert, actually a 24-page booklet called "The Book of Zug," in magazines like Anthem, Fader, Paper, Paste, Automobile, Esquire, European Car, Motor Trend, Spin and Wired.

I have a decent collection of MINI promotional stuff. Part of the collection are the Clubman fortune cookies. I have about three still in their wrapper. Something wrong with me?

It would be one of my favorites too. I'm jealous - I tried SO hard to get one of these and just couldn't.... If you ever come across another one - please think of me - please - pretty please...

One of the dealerships gave that to me several years ago. It's my understanding only one per dealer was given out.

So my wife saw these in a mail order catalog today. How can I talk her out of ordering it?

For Spin, I think it is only in the subscription version. The upcoming ads might be in both, so keep watching for them.

The April 2008 issue of Men's Journal has a MINI ad over four pages (22-25) with the ZIG. ZAG. ZUG. theme.

  • Motor Trend. March 2008. (between pages 124 & 125)

The current issue of Intersection has a new four-page MINI Clubman ad with a front of a Clubman on one page, a two-page spread of a world map scaled by MINI sales, and the rear of the Clubman on the last page. I'll try to find out the page numbers and get a scan.

Thanks for the updates James!! I've managed to get all of them so far including the new ad in "Intersection". It's towards the front of the magazine. Guess I should have paid attention to the page numbers before I ripped it all apart - LOL!!

Two new Clubman ads:

HUG TREES. AND CORNERS.
GOOD. Issue 010. May/June 2008. (page 13)

THE OTHER NIEDERMEYER. | THE OTHER FITZPATRICK. | THE OTHER PETERMAN. | THE OTHER MINI.
Swindle
. No. 15. 2008. (pages 49, 51, 53-55)

Wow, MINI is advertising in some obscure magazines.
