North American International Auto Show pics
I just remembered that I never posted a link. Here they be. I was only there for one day this year, unfortunately.

Isn't that Mazda shot funny? She looked so bored.

I really like that Cayman. It's one of those cars that looks better in person than it does is pictures.

At both the L.A. and Chicago auto shows I kept getting irked with what white balance to use, TGFR (Thank Goodness For RAW).
They're all very good. I like the two Cayman pics also (which I had asked about previously) and my other favorite is #16, the one with the lighting setup and people in (almost) silhouette.
Did you get a chance to, or will you, go to the Chicago show?

I'd enjoy doing the Chicago show but I'm not going to make this year, unfortunately. I should keep it in mind for next year, though.

It's not as easy as Mark (or Dave) makes it look.

All I can say is have your camera and mini-tripod ready. Switch to manual focus perhaps. Because of the lighting, make sure you have a thick ND filter. (oh, be ready to catch your gear in case it goes flying!
)Let's see . . . have I left anything out?
Oh yeah, stay away from the Newcastles!

I have some pics too, been too busy to post them. Gabe had one of my photos on his site:

But I have others... the lighting in the MINI part was hit-or-miss, as the bloody light above the MINI kept changing colors. Plus the people (ugh).
Frankly, I can't take large scale photos (ie, 25:1) very well, I feel much more comfortable at the 1:1 or smaller realm...
